Former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has stated that the BJP’s efforts to delay the election date will not prevent their defeat. Speaking in Jind, Chautala criticized the BJP for attempting to postpone the elections, claiming that the party is fearful of losing as their support in the state has dwindled significantly.
Chautala argued that the BJP is struggling to secure even 20 seats and expressed doubt that the Election Commission will consider their request for a delay. He emphasized that Haryana’s electorate is determined to show their dissatisfaction with the BJP in the upcoming vote on October 1.
He also took a jab at the Congress, accusing them of dividing the state along regional lines during their decade-long rule and highlighting issues like poor infrastructure and corruption.
Regarding the upcoming election in Uchana, Chautala dismissed claims that he would not contest from the area. He assured his supporters that despite any political rallies by BJP or Congress figures like PM Modi or Rahul Gandhi, the JJP will win in Uchana thanks to the hard work of their local team.
Chautala concluded by urging JJP workers to remain diligent over the next 36 days, expressing confidence that the party will secure more seats than in the previous assembly election and play a significant role in the legislature.
