In a grand reveal coinciding with the festive season, Kia has launched two luxurious vehicles in India: the fourth-generation Kia Carnival and the highly anticipated electric SUV, Kia EV9.
The Kia EV9, priced at ₹1.3 crore, boasts impressive performance metrics, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds. It features an impressive range of 561 kilometers on a single charge, making it an attractive option for eco-conscious consumers. The EV9 also supports fast charging, allowing users to recharge from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes. With over 100 smart features, including Kia Connect 2.0, this electric SUV is designed for modern drivers seeking convenience and connectivity.
Safety is a priority in the EV9, which is equipped with 10 airbags and 20 additional safety features, along with a 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP and ANCAP. The interior of the EV9 is designed for comfort and technology, featuring powered seats in all three rows and a stunning ambient lighting system with 64 color options. Its Trinity Panoramic Display integrates a 12.3-inch HD instrument cluster, a 5-inch HVAC display, and a 12.3-inch HD touchscreen navigation system, all contributing to a seamless and sophisticated driving experience.
Kia India’s Head of Sales & Marketing, Hardeep Barar, highlighted the EV9’s rapid acceleration and extensive range, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to innovation in the electric vehicle segment.
On the other hand, the Kia Carnival Limousine Plus MPV has been launched at a price of ₹63.90 lakh. This luxurious MPV is powered by a 2.2-liter turbo-diesel engine delivering 190 bhp, coupled with an 8-speed automatic gearbox for smooth and efficient driving. The Carnival comes with a dual electric sunroof, a 12-speaker Bose sound system for entertainment, and three-zone climate control, ensuring a comfortable ride for all passengers.
