Meanwhile, Dharmshila’s father, Avadh Bihari Singh, reported her missing and filed a dowry harassment case against her husband, Deepak, and his family. As time passed without finding Dharmshila, her father identified an unknown woman’s body found near the Son River as his daughter. This led to the arrest and imprisonment of Deepak and his father on murder charges.
